Case Analysis of Cathodic Electrophoresis Coating Production Line Design
1. Principle of electrophoretic coating: Cationic water-washing coating under the action of external electric field produces electrolysis, electrophoresis, point deposition and electroosmosis reaction by electrophoresis, thus coating coating coating particles on the surface of cathode workpiece to form anti-corrosion, decoration and functional coating. This coating process is called cathodic electrophoresis.
Electrophoretic coating has the advantages of fast construction speed, mechanization and automation, continuous operation, reduced labor intensity, uniform paint film and strong adhesion. It is not easy to coat or poorly coated parts by common painting methods, such as the rib weld mentioned above, to obtain uniform and smooth paint film. The utilization rate of electrophoretic coatings is over 95%. Because electrophoretic coatings use water as solvent, they are non-flammable, non-toxic, easy to operate, and have the advantages of green environmental protection (low VOC emissions). The coatings dried after electrophoresis have excellent adhesion. Its rust resistance, corrosion resistance and weathering resistance are superior to those of ordinary paints and general construction methods.

3. Equipment Design
The production program of curtain rod cathodic electrophoresis coating line belongs to large workpiece and small batch production. The conductor automatic vulcanization line excludes the continuous suspension conveying coating line and the ship groove scheme. The main basis is as follows:
(1) According to the shape and size of the workpiece and the production essentials, the use of gantry line can greatly reduce the volume of electrophoretic tank, and the renewal cycle of electrophoretic paint is shorter.
